Raushana J. is a master hair designer with over 20 years of experience specializing in natural hair, hair extensions, haircutting and hair coloring techniques. Although her interests are in every aspect of hair, her passion leans mostly towards healthy hair care. Raushuna J. has worked behind the scenes in NYC for photoshoots and fashion shows including Uptown Fashion Week during New York's Fashion Week. Currently, Raushana is proud to be a free lance stylist at Salon Amour located in the Washington DC area and enjoys working with a great team. While ensuring that she offers her clients the best hair styling techniques, she also prides herself on rendering impeccable customer service.

Raushana J has extensive educational background in hair cutting, coloring and product knowledge, but continues to invest time in sharpening her skills. After completing her initial cosmetology education at Dudley’s Beauty Academy Raushana has taken on classes facilitated by world renowned Kim Kimble (style sessions), Kyiah Wright (clairol color techniques), Cantrell Mitchell(round brushing techniques), Matrix Color, Paul Mitchell Color, Vidal Sassoon (Creative Cutting) just to name a few.
